Tapestry Tuesday Trainings are coming up!!!!!! Just like I told you earlier, this is a part of our new “Equipping the Saints” ministry. We will have the following training classes through the summer and I would like you to reserve your time and plan to be there!
Please email Lori at lorihedrick@tapestrychurch.org and let her know if you are coming. I am going to limit each class to no more than 12 people. Since the space is limited, you need to let us know QUICKLY if you plan to attend. I will most likely keep a wait list and have more sessions on more dates if there is interest. However, in the interest of being the best for the space and the relationships, we will keep these to a certain size.
So, here they are:
Personal Finance – Tuesday June 21, & Tuesday 28 (This is a two week commitment)
And it is for three items:
1 – Budgeting
2 – Debt Management & Personal Financial Profiles
3 – The Biblical approach to stewardship
(This is only a primer for something we plan to do larger during the Fall 2011)
Worship – Tuesday July 12
It is for three areas:
1 – Planning,
2 – Spiritual Prep
3 – and Skills of Worship
(I would appreciate at the least my worship leaders signing up for this one and if you cannot make this one, I need you to make a later one. It is not just training, it is more round table and artisan craft sharing).
Welcome, Greeting and Follow-up – Tuesday July 26
If you want to be a part of the Tapestry’s team to greet, welcome and follow-up with our wonderful visitors, come out to this training. We are stepping it up as we look to better our ways and means of creating Newcomer family fusion!

Evangelism and Power Ministry – Tuesday Aug 9
(We will probably use this as just the beginning to a larger one in the Fall as well).
Small Group Leader Training – Tuesday Aug 16, 23
(ALL small group leaders MUST ATTEND! Go ahead and put it on your own calendars and plan to be there. If you plan to lead a small group and cannot make it, let me know and we can plan a make-up date).
Tapestry 101 – New Member’s Class
Friday, July 29th 8pm
dessert and coffee will be provided.
(And if you wish to help LEAD the newcomer’s meetings later, please come and be a part of this first one. Learn the stuff and help me grow the teaching and then we will release you to help the process!)
