Hey guys, just wanted to let you guys know about Go Spread Fire for this month. Although GSF is usually the second Saturday of each month, this month we had to postpone the event to Nov. 18. PD and Lori won’t be joining us so we plan on meeting at my place in the city. Here is the schedule:
10:00 am We are going to meet at my place at 10 am to prepare for the day and start cooking for outreach
Please arrive no later than 11 am ( we are going to leave for our first outreach 11 am)
The first outreach is going to be in Langley Park at noon where we will bring lunch to the homeless; this is a part of the homeless ministry that Thao, Hoang and Seung have been working with for the last year.
After homeless outreach we will return home to prepare crafts and game for the kids at Barry Farms. We are leaving for Barry Farms at 2 pm and will return home after 5 pm for dinner. Please feel free to join us at any point, keeping in mind the times we leave for event.
If you want to join us for the whole day we may be able to arrange a shuttle leaving from the Grovesner metro station for those that are coming from MD and don’t want to drive in the city. Let me know if this is something you are interested in.

For those of you who don’t know about GSF, here is a brief description.
GO SPREAD FIRE is an outreach ministry of Tapestry Church. GSF began two years ago under the name Guts to Serve. Basiclly we spend a week each summer doing outreach in the community, think of it as local missions. This past summer we had the most amazing time during GSF that we decided that that we could not limit ourselves to one week a year, but to hold outreach at least once a month! ARRRG! We hope you can join us.
