If you feel like you are missing out, then get involved! We have tons going on!!!!!

I am also emailing to say happy day after elections! You know, some of you out there supported and voted for Senator McCain and some others supported and voted for President Obama. Today, I want to say thank you for all of your efforts! Some of you actually worked for the campaigns and the teams. Thank you for your time. Congratulations to all of you for your efforts. All of you encouraged a record number of voters to come out and cast their ballots during this VERY HISTORIC election!

You all have done well, no matter whether you won or not. You all make me proud and I am very thankful that the LORD has given me the very special opportunity to pastor you all. I am so thankful that you allow me to do the work of reconciliation, always building bridges between unlikely groups.

YOU ALL HAVE MADE ME PROUD!

Now, as we head into this next era, it is my encouragement that we begin to pray for President-Elect Obama. He has much to do to prepare for his office and he has many things that face him. Daunting challenges lie ahead for the American people and the world for that matter. I implore each and every one of us to pray for him, his cabinet, his health, his family, his counsel, and his mind. It is time for us to rally to intercede for those that won offices last night and those that will return to finish their terms.

It is time for us to pull our America together. It is time for us to call for balance, temperance and humility!

My only consolation in times like these is that I do not look to men to answer for GOD, but for GOD to come and answer for men! Come, LORD JESUS, give us the strength to do what we must and the endurance to stand firm.

I love you much Tapestry,

Blessings!
