Is This What You Are Looking For?

Why ‘Twilight’ Isn’t For Everybody

Yes, it’s about old-fashioned romance, but isn’t some of the sexual content inappropriate for pre-teens? When a tide of popularity rises, it erases all boundaries.

I actually like this article. It’s nice to see someone who cares about the growth and development of our kids. I am concerned that all of the racy stuff out there right now is stealing innocence, encouraging decadence and destroying true intimacy.

I am actually the kind of person that does NOT watch movies that are rated over PG-13 and I won’t watch any of those movies if it has sexual content. Now, I know, that’s my preference and you are right. I might be old fashioned, but at a whopping 34 years old, I am NOT OLD!

The thing is that I have been to so many different countries and the ones I loves the most were the ones where even though the people may have seen political upheaval, they may have seen death, poverty, and/or war, but all the while, when I looked into their eyes, there was a basic innocence, a truly clean spirit and heart to these people.

I want that! I want it for my kids. I want it for my community. I want it for my church. I want it for my world.

I want love to be “safe,” “intimacy” to be sacred and “sex,” to be in the bounds of healthy married life. And at the very same time, for that health not to be exploited by the one eyed monster we call TV…

Well, with that said, read on to see what the Author for the LA Times said about Twilight. Isn’t it funny that the times ran this article?

What are we coming to when they become the last bastion of morals?!

HAHAHAHA!
