Hello and Good Morning or Might I say, “Jambo Sana…”
It is great to be back from Kenya and to have this moment to thank everyone for their prayers, oversight and hard work in my absence. Many have been asking how the trip went through email, phone and/or text and because I have not had time to go through all of the literal hundreds of emails yet, I thought I would send this short message today and plan to do a Kenya review next Sunday just after Easter to fill everyone in and report in a timely fashion on just all that has happened.
In fact, I am back and have been not only thoroughly blessed by quite possibly one of the most amazing peoples I have ever met, but taught through their loves, care and reception that there is so much more to the Kingdom of GOD and we have only begun to scratch the surface.
Today, friends and family, I can tell you that I have been changed, affected and empowered myself as GOD has revealed my further place in HIS work. As this was revealed through the time there, I further realized just how much Poppa has for each of you. I apologize for not realizing this earlier. We have the chance to be used by Poppa to change not only the world, but to allow GOD to change us as well! I hope you will continue to walk with me in whatever capacity you currently do and more as we continue to take this journey. I can literally SEE the opportunities around us both abroad and here in DC and the USA and am alive with excitement.
I am different today. I seem to be different every day as I wake up. As Poppa has allowed me to both feel and see HIS love for me over the last couple of weeks, I have found that I love you all even more and cannot wait to see and speak with each of you.
Here are just a few things for reminders.
1 – This weekend is Easter – We will have an Easter Service in the morning.
2 – Right after the service we will go out and lead OEG (Operation Easter Egg)! Many of you helped with the preparation and I have already heard about the casseroles, which I heard that I really missed a treat with Lori’s mom’s casserole!
3 – Good Friday, in the evening, we will have a special service with Twinbrook Community Church. Please come take part. Here is their info: http://www.twinbrookministries.org/ it will be Friday April 10th, at 7pm.
4 – Next Sunday, April 19, (Zuzana’s Easter… HAHAHA!) We will have the Story of Kenya through picture, video and gifts.
Please don’t miss anything. I know you will be sad if you do. I look forward to seeing your smiling faces. They do my heart good.
