If you have not met them yet, boy are you in for a treat! This precious family comes to us all the way from India (where some of our ladies went on missions in January). Well actually they are coming from North Carolina but you know what I mean. 1/2 the year they live in India pouring their lives into orphans and the lost and 1/2 the year they are in the states raising funds.
Todd will be speaking this Sunday. Please don’t miss it.
There are some different opportunities to give to this family and I just want to share them with you.
#1 you can give to Hope Givers International (the organization they work with when they are in India). the money goes straight to the kiddos
#2 you can also slip him a $20 or so for his time here in the states. gas, food, diapers, all his efforts in the states are just so he can go right back to india and give it all away.
#3 they just had a baby 3 weeks ago. precious baby joel is missing his hand on his right arm. it never developed. many of you prayed for baby joel before he was born for his missing hand and his heart condition. praise God his heart was healed. As any parent would be, I am sure they are crushed but at the same time are praising God and trusting him. Can we all get little gifts for baby Joel. Nothing big. (they have to travel and stuff things in a suitcase) but a small pack of diapers, a pack of bibs, an outfit or something. Just something small to let them know that we love them and are praying for them!
There are 3 maybe 4 opportunities for you to get to hang out with them this time.
#1 They might be arriving in time for the block party. what a great time to meet and greet with them
#2 we will be going to dinner at woomie garden this Saturday night. This is Gracy’s favorite resturant and she looks forward to it all year. we are not sure as to their arrival time so we are still leaving dinner time up in the air.
#3 of course he will be at church on sunday and you can catch him before service starts
#4 depending on his work schedule he might be staying till monday morning which means a sunday dinner will take place.
