Happy New Year!!!!! Wednesday and Thursday were Rosh Hashanah. So, maybe you did not know it, but this is the Biblical New Year! So, let's start this New Year off right with some great opportunities to inspire, equip and ignite!
So, this week, I am actually emailing some of these great opportunities around our area that I just want everyone to know about and links that have details about those events. I am excited about so much going on around us and want to make sure that you all have the chance to see and be a part of whatever it is that floats your boat! Get groups together or talk to your ministry buddies on your ministry teams, coworkers or small groups and go check some of these exciting faith boosters on your own! THIS SATURDAY, we'll be hosting the Columbia Heights Fall Festival, so bring your family and friends to the Girard Street Park (15th & Girard) from 11am to 3pm and join us for a fun day of FREE food, face painting, moon bounce, candied apples, snow cones, popcorn, live music, games, and more! We are going to be partnering with this church in DC over the next years. So, if you want to be a part, check out the info on their site and jump in! They are doing EVERYTHING that our leadership has longed to do in DC in our neck of the woods where we used to do ministry and where Su used to live. They are an answer to prayer.
