I went on a cruise in 2000 on my honeymoon to the Caribbean on Royal Caribbean and it was absolutely wonderful! I will have to post pictures later. We went to: Curacao, Grand Cayman, Jamaica, Aruba, Cozumel and had a blast.
As a matter of fact, we are about to take another one in September! I highly recommend it!

I met John Wimber in October of 1997 at Blood-n-Fire Ministries when he spoke at a conference. It was life changing. I had read almost all his books, heard almost everything he had ever had on tape at the time and been absolutely revolutionized by my relationships in the Vineyard Movement. So, when I met him, it was just a great capstone to the whole thing. I think that if everyone could take time to read one author, watch a DVD and hear one person speak or anything else, John would have to be one of those top people to listen to or study under. We now do it once a month! It’s all about just doing nice things for the simple reason of being nice. Too many religious people do things to market and this isn’t it. There is NO return, NO advertising, NO proselytizing (sp?)or anything else consumeristic. It’s simply kindness for kindness sake. We take a whole Saturday and do service from handing out bottles of water to handing out balloons for free, and ending by doing a recreational camp in the inner city of Washington, DC. It’s all done with open hands and freely. We give away tons, we build community, we make people smile and the cost is all ours. I LOVE this stuff! I highly recommend it. Anyone can join. He’s the greatest Jack Russell in the world and I am telling you, if you can ever get one trained, they can be the smartest, most loving and loyal dogs you will ever have. However, don’t underestimate their three-year-old-like brains, these little guys are VERY mischievious if not treated with enough love and attention.

And it’s not simply becuase I personally love it, it’s the people, the atmosphere, the campus, the professors, the friends, the campus groups, the life, the seasons, the state it’s in, the level of education, the activities, the basketball team, the women’s soccer team, the value, and much more!

What an exciting summer. Things have been really kicking it this summer so far.
VINEYARD NORTHEAST
We have been doing so much to reach out to our area, the world and even our family of churches. This past week, the Tapestry Team went to minister at the Vineyard Regional Conference in PA. We had a great time as God really touched and spoke through our amazing young people in the Vineyard North East. I have to say that I am truly impressed with the quality and depth of God’s heart that is stirring in these truly amazing young people. I can’t wait to hear the stories about their adventures with the Lord later on!
