Tonight’s devotion brought out an issue with one of our kiddos that we didn’t even know about. Dustin recorded a precious moment after the devotion was over…my sweet Lyds and me on the porch having a heart to heart. SO thankful that tonight’s devotion brought this out so we could shepherd her through this. And just to keep it real….her deep deep worry was that she would be in trouble for sticking her tongue out at someone like over 3 weeks ago. Oh the life of a 5 year old! Every night around the supper table we do devotions. We spend time breaking apart a Scripture, a thought for the day based on that Scripture as well as a Bible Story for kids. We attempt to allow the kids most of the direction of the discussion and prayer in order to see them learn to lead. So, come join our family for supper and devotions!
