adoration – Is This What You Are Looking For?

I am constructing my new Pastoral Office-Time Management based on my personal and ministry Values & Priorities. (This does not include my personal priorities or the priorities that I use at BAI for work). This will help three things:

1. I will be able to more clearly communicate my role at the church.
2. I will be able to more easily complete my tasks (Based largely on a Franklin Covey Plan).
3. The church will be able to more clearly see when they need to move my status from “Volunteer” (Which I have cheerfully functioned at for the last 4.3 years) to “Part-Time” and later to “Full-Time.”

So, with that said, here it is…

I have broken the list down into:

Tuesday | Missional & Message | 1. Outreach (Personal & Planning) 2. Activities to bring in Community 3. Networking 4. Mission Planning 5. International Pastoral Prayer Meetings 6. Tapestry Foundation 7. HWW Development

Wednesday | Cultural | 1. Material Development: Podcasting, cd duplication, ministry & table materials developed 2. Small Group Preparation & Planning 3. Web Development: Facebook, Flickr, YouTube, Broadcast, webs site and online communications.

Thursday | Creative & Family | My Day off (I will work on creative and development tools for myself & have the night off with my family).

Friday | Adoration | 1. Sermon Preparation 2. Personal Study 3. Personal Worship 4. Sunday Ministries Development 5. Send out “the Thread” (Week event updates and weekend coming activities and updates).

6PM starts Sabbath

Saturday [Sabbath] | Adoration & Covenant | (Therefore all things are for the Worship of GOD & the life of my family) 1. Ministry to the poor, needy, orphan, widow, aged 2. Family events.

Sunday | the Tapestry Community

About Our Story and this Software

This post goes out to all you wonderful people called church planters out there. We were blessed when we started the Tapestry by a group who created a software called Adoration. The software is a basic presentation software and we used it for our first three years in ministry.

We have long since changed software, however, I watched as this small company who provided us with this amazing blessing of free software stopped supporting their work and eventually shut down their site. Recently I saw some other sites taking advantage of the software and making it for sale since this company is no longer selling it. But, before this company totally shut down, they made their software free to church planters.

They posted their code and allowed people to download the free demo version, input the code and use the software in order to get started into ministry.

In the same heartbeat, we are hosting this software here.

If you have any questions, this software is no longer supported, however, hopefully, we will later add some posts of things that can help you use it better.
