Every night around the supper table we do devotions. We spend time breaking apart a Scripture, a thought for the day based on that Scripture as well as a Bible Story for kids. We attempt to allow the kids most of the direction of the discussion and prayer in order to see them learn to lead. So, come join our family for supper and devotions!

Today’s video is day 7 of our 2,000 mile road trip to Disney World and back.

Today we are going from Atlanta, Georgia from visiting Lori’s family, looking at tractors and Malachi experiencing his first car wash to head back to North Carolina to hang with Dustin’s family on the farm before heading back to Maryland. Also, we have a little experience with Malachi shutting doors and getting stuck.

We left Orlando, Florida after our amazing vacation at Walt Disney World, spending a day in the Epcot Center and a day in the Magic Kingdom and we head up to Lori’s parent’s home outside Atlanta, Georgia for a long overdue surprise on the Memaw and Bapaw. We spend the night catching up with them. Lori takes a moment to give Anna lessons on how to use a rotary phone and I crash on the chair. Boy this trip has been a real event!

Tomorrow we are leaving North Carolina and heading back to Maryland.

The post Road Trip – Day 7 – Georgia Day 2 Kings Mtn & NC appeared first on DHM (Home of FWJ).

Today’s video is day 6 of our 2,000 mile road trip to Disney World and back.

Today we left Orlando, Florida after our amazing vacation at Walt Disney World, spending a day in the Epcot Center and a day in the Magic Kingdom and we head up to Lori’s parent’s home outside Atlanta, Georgia for a long overdue surprise on the Memaw and Bapaw. We spend the night catching up with them. Lori takes a moment to give Anna lessons on how to use a rotary phone and I crash on the chair. Boy this trip has been a real event!

MAGIC KINGDOM!!!!! WooHoo! What an amazing day. We went to the Magic Kingdom of Walt Disney World and had the time of our lives. We rode the rides, saw Dumbo, Ariel, Marie (from Aristocats), Goofy, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Minnie Mouse and so much more. To say this day was magical was an understatement. We spent the entire day there and closed the park after the light show and fireworks.

Some of our favorite attractions were, Peter Pans ride, Goofy’s Roller Coaster, Dumbo, Aladdin’s Carpet Ride, Pirates of the Caribbean, and we enjoyed the Tiki Room as well as Haunted Mansion. So much to do and so little time. We are so grateful to the staff and the folks that make this park run.

Tomorrow we are leaving Georgia and heading back to North Carolina!!!! So, be sure to journey with us!

Today’s video is day 4 of our 2,000 mile road trip to Disney World and back.

We went to our presentation for the time share that paid for our trip and once that was over, we went to Epcot Center at Disney World in Orlando, Florida!!!!

Join in our adventure as we see Mexico, Africa, Norway, France, the United Kingdom, Italy, Morocco, Canada and enjoy Spaceship Earth. In this video, our girls get the awesome joy of meeting some of their favorite Disney characters and princesses. You will see Daisy Duck, Donald Duck, Snow White, Jasmine, Belle and more. Watch as we tour and even see a cute episode where Malachi is greeted by a very interested squirrel.

On this travel vlog, you can get a good overall glimpse at what Disney’s Epcot has to offer especially in the World Showcase.

Tomorrow we are going to the Magic Kingdom!!!! We can hardly wait to have this adventure with you!

Yesterday we were back in the car driving the distance from North Carolina to Florida. We make a pit stop in South Carolina, near St. George where Indian Field Camp Meeting is, “One of our favorite events all year,” we give a shoutout to our friends there, we stop to get clothes, are almost attacked by wild birds, end the night in our insanely small hotel room that is totally ridiculous since we are in Florida to go through their time share opportunity and we are NOT time share kinds of people, but they give us free stay and goodies to be there. It is fun and goofy and we invite you along for the ride!
