So out of nowhere, Malachi decides to just start talking! Some are just words we ask him to repeat and some are words he comes up with on his own…like Barbara Bush. Barbara Bush is a wonderful lady, but it is not a name we bring up in our house on a regular day basis. I honestly think he was trying to call the #mylittlepony #rainbowdash but instead it comes out #barbarabush !! LOL!!! My baby is #growingup

We met my parents at a hotel over New Years. They drove 4 hours north and we drove 7 hours south and we got to send a couple days with them. It happened to be very cold and very rainy the entire visit so we ordered pizza and played hide n seek. In hind site, I probably should have waited till my dad got off the phone with the Papa Johns but we hope you enjoy this nonetheless. Can you spot our sweet Lyds before Memaw can?

Every night around the supper table we do devotions. We spend time breaking apart a Scripture, a thought for the day based on that Scripture as well as a Bible Story for kids. We attempt to allow the kids most of the direction of the discussion and prayer in order to see them learn to lead. So, come join our family for supper and devotions!
