We know that our kiddos’ group has grown so large that getting us all together at the same place at the same time and doing the same activity together is nearly impossible but how about this…the Tapestry will be hosting a family day at Brookside Gardens on Sunday, December the 15th at 5pm. We will meet by the Caterpillar entrance (the visitor center entrance) at 5pm if you want to meet up with a group and walk through the garden lights together, or come anytime and bump into your favorite Tapestry people as you go through the gardens at your own pace.

 The invitation to “come and see” is an invitation to draw close to Jesus and get to know him.  It is an invitation to enter in the life abundant and find rest and fulfillment in Jesus.  And yet for some reason we continually ignore or fight against the invitation.  Join us in this ten week exploration of what it means to Come and See, and the obstacles that bar our path.

 We will be having a potluck lunch on November 17th right after church to celebrate PD's birthday. Let us know what covered dish you will be bringing by emailing su@tapestrychurch.org.

Samaritan's Purse is collecting shoe boxes filled with goodies for hurting children all across the world. A shoebox filled with small toys, hygiene items and school supplies tangibly demonstrates God's love to a child in need. Melissa Baird has more information if you have any questions. November 17th is the last day you can bring a box to Tapestry. Look on the Connect Table in the lobby for a packing guide or you can go to www.samaritanspurse.org

If you are not able to make the trip back home for Thanksgiving this year or find yourself without family in the area, let Tapestry be part of your Thanksgiving plans! The Bromer/Suh family has graciously opened their home for the traditional Thanksgiving Dinner Potluck on Nov. 28th @ 4pm. Please RSVP to juliesuh@me.com and she will send you the address/directions. Do a little good with your holiday shopping this year by purchasing gifts that give back and do good.
